My parents are going through a separation, and it has been a difficult and overwhelming time for my family. I’ve always felt uncomfortable asking them for money especially now, so I wanted to take responsibility for myself and become financially independent. Even if I can’t support myself entirely yet, I want to contribute in whatever way I can and ease some of the burden.
